Meet The Team

Cona Alexander

Assistant Trainer

Cona started working with horses at a young age training and competing in Dressage and Hunter/Jumper.  While in college in New York City, she co-founded her university’s first equestrian team, and competed successfully with the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association.  While living and working in Washington DC, Cona was Project Architect for the nation’s premier Equine Architecture firm Blackburn Architects.  She designed over twenty six state of the art equine training facilities across the country, including the SCAD training facility and special projects for the Washington International Horse Show.  It was there that Cona connected with Grand Prix Dressage rider Jaralyn Finn, whom she started training with. In 2020 she founded GOOD REINS, a Nonprofit Equestrian and Fine Arts Ministry, with the goal to reach and serve students overcoming challenges, giving them a real hope in a good future.

Emily Carter
